Sexual Guilt

A large number of the letters written to the author of this book include phrases such as, please do not publish my name, or I bet you have never heard anything like this before. A large number of women seem to believe that their fantasies are not normal or that by having fantasies the women themselves are not normal. This sense of oddity causes many women to feel guilty for having fantasies. Not only that, but the content of many women's fantasies cause them guilt. Women who were raised to believe it was improper to ask for what they wanted in bed or to even touch their own bodies find it difficult to reconcile that advice with the thoughts and feelings coursing through their healthy bodies. All of these things combine to make women feel guilty for experiencing the effects of a normal sex life.
