Service

Dr. Paul Farmer leads a life of service. He gives continually of himself to everyone—patients, family, friends, even those who would seem adversarial (for example, Alex Goldfarb). People recognize his loving nature and sincerity. For this reason, people are drawn to him and he leaves quite an impression. Some call him saintly, but he is quick to correct them.
