Summary

In "Ursus Arctos—Brown Bear," Jessa remembers when she and Libby helped Brynn prepare for her wedding day. Jessa and Brynn stayed out late drinking the night prior. Bastien was crying in the next room. Brynn was anxious and edgy. Jessa could not stop thinking how strange it was she was marrying Milo. Brynn wondered what would happen if the marriage failed. Jessa tried reassuring her. She orchestrated their connection, realizing it was the only way she could keep Brynn in her life. During the ceremony, Jessa watched how close Brynn and Milo stood to one another; there was no space for her.
