Greenway

Greenway is the store that Mrs. Wooly crashes the bus into so she can unload the children inside safely away from the hailstorm. Greenway is a department store in Monument where the children and bus driver take refuge and find supplies after the bus crash.

Monument, Colorado

Monument, Colorado is the town that offers the primary setting of the novel. From Dean's description of Monument, it appears to be a suburban town where many families live. Overall, Monument sounds as if it is a safe and enjoyable environment to live and raise a family until the hailstorm strikes.

Pizza Shack
