Summary

The narrator notes that at this point the details are hard to know for sure, but what seems like happened was that the quarantine zone is locked down and a team of doctors from the World Health Organization (WHO) sent in to the infected hospital but never come out. Then the infected shriek in unison, which unleashes hell in the camps as the hundreds of thousands of Casimir-type “Possessed” pick up any available weapon and begin an unbridled spree of murderous chaos.
Soon, the Possessed overrun all the relocation camps in the quarantine zone, forcing 200,000 Haitian people to flee. The U.N. waits two days before sending in a peacekeeping force, who are torn to pieces by the mobs of Possessed. The narrator interrupts himself here to share a relevant side story.
