Chapters 26-30 Summary and Analysis

Bram realizes that he needs to be fair to the loved ones he left behind and tell them that he is safe. Bram also knows that he has to tell Gertie about Sian. Bram also realizes that he has given his life to Modoc and wonders if it was because of the promise to his father or because it was what he was meant to do. Bram writes letters to his mother and then to Gertie, telling them he is fine and releasing Gertie from any tie to him.
