Summary

In Chapter 4, Merci goes to El Caribe where her aunt, Tia Ines, works. Lolo has new glasses. Tia Ines says they are the same prescription, but he claims he can see better. Abuela has taken over walking the twins home from school. Tia Ines says Merci must go home to help watch the boys. Lolo is clearly upset about the situation. Merci says she will soon be starting soccer and that Tia Ines will need to hire a sitter. She responds by saying that she does not need to hire a “stranger” because she has relatives.
