Book Five, Eve and Alexandra 1950-1975: Chapters 31-35 and Epilogue, Kate 1982: Chapters 36-37 Summary

George is being forced into seeing a therapist by Dr. Harley. Eve sees this as an opportunity to help their scheme and tells George to talk to the therapist, Peter Templeton, about Alexandra's recent depression and desire to commit suicide. George does, leaving Templeton skeptical, especially when he learns the truth about the beating George gave Eve. The following morning, Eve goes to Dr. Harley and tells him she is concerned for Alexandra. The following day, Eve again goes to Dr. Harley, but this time she claims to be Alexandra and complains of depression. Dr. Harley gives her medication he hopes will help.

George continues to see Templeton, who tries to get George to admit to his sadistic side...
