Summary

In Chapter 51, Alexandra told Larsen that an analysis of the blood on Harry’s pants showed that he had enough Rohypnol in his system to knock him out for four or five hours. She said she had also learned that the electricity consumption at Rakel’s house had risen between 8 p.m. and midnight. Based on this new information it was possible that Rakel had been killed as early as 6 p.m. It appeared that Harry had not killed Rakel. Larsen remembered that Finne had an alibi beginning at 9:30 but it was possible he had killed Rakel before arriving at the hospital. He began running, motivated to find Finne and to prove he was a better detective than Winter.
