Summary

In the Fold, Zoya knows that Nikolai will not survive Elizaveta’s plan. She is furious that she ever trusted Yuri, but is surprised when the monster attacks him. Zoya destroys the sphere and runs to Juris, but finds his body. He says Elizaveta gave him fuel disguised as wine to burn him from the inside out. He tells Zoya to take his scales to stop her.
