Kaikeyi

Kaikeyi exemplifies women's suffrage and the courage needed to overcome long-term beliefs. As a young girl forced into a marriage she never chose, Kaikeyi used what little power she had to help women that do not have the opportunities she has. She becomes an advocate for gender equality, using the gods' condemnation of her beliefs to push for change that others are afraid to do. Although she still loses much in her desperation to change the world, she does live long enough to see her own courage imparted on the women she fought to empower.
