Summary

Chapter 21 is written from Josh’s perspective. Josh goes to Emily’s house with food from their mother. Emily and Dave are not there. He eats and calls Emily and Hazel, but gets their voicemail. He thinks about how Emily’s house reflects her happy marriage and how he misses Hazel and Winnie. He texts Dave and they agree to meet for a beer. He goes to the bathroom and sees the positive results of a pregnancy test. He thinks that Emily is pregnant, but does not tell Dave. He does tell him that he is in love with Hazel. Dave tells him that he should tell Hazel.
