Summary

In Part 2, Chapter 5, the weekend arrives. Randy does not want to go out, but he also does not want to spend the night alone with Megan, so he invites his friend David to drink with them at their apartment. Randy and David converse, and Megan finds the conversation uninteresting. When she tries to add to the conversation, Randy and David essentially ignore her. During the conversation, Megan recalls an embarrassing memory of being pranked in middle school. Randy then tells David another of Megan’s embarrassing middle school memories: Megan’s parents once caught her masturbating with a vibrating novelty pen. Megan grows angry with Randy for sharing that memory.
