Developments in Indecent’s plot, themes, and style are all defined by the actions and perspectives of theatre practitioners. For example, several of Indecent’s key events, or plot elements, are defined by the discoveries and choices of actors who are involved in the playing out of its narrative, and that of “…Vengeance.” Significant contributions to both narratives to the plots and themes of both narratives, are made by actor characters like Virginia, Dorothee, and Reina.
