Summary

In “Friends,” a woman named Sarah moved to a new city where she knew no one. Friends from her previous city set up introductions for her with their friends local to the area, but Sarah did not like any of them until she met Holly. They met at night and Holly was wearing a trench coat. Sarah began complaining about her mother and Holly remarked, “I can see your mother's side of things” (122), which annoyed Sarah, but they continued to spend time together. On a Saturday morning, Holly texted Sarah and asked her to come to the train station for “an adventure” (123). Sarah did so, and they boarded A train. Hours passed.
