The Importance of Love

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. never changed his message or his methods of protesting. He followed Gandhi's teachings to the best of his ability and spoke out against hate and violence. He also explained the kind of love that people needed to have. He explained that love didn't mean that you were supposed to care for and hug the people that were doing you wrong but that you were supposed to realize that they were God's children the same that you are and you were supposed to care for them in that regard. Dr. King tells the people over and over again that nonviolence is the only that there will ever be balance.
