Summary

Chapter 16. Joe calls Lieutenant Esposito to tell her what they found in the hotel room, but is only able to leave a message. As he, Barack, and Steve speculate on what might have happened in the room, Joe recalls Esposito’s suggestion in their earlier phone conversation that Finn might have been killed somewhere else and his body moved to the railroad tracks. Joe also speculates about what might have happened to Finn’s car, wondering if it had even left the parking lot of the hotel. As Steve is trying to use his Secret Service contacts to identify Finn’s license number, Jo recalls what Grace had told him about the bumper sticker Finn had, and identifies Finn’s car.
