Summary

Murad works as a tourist guide in Tangier where he struggles to find customers. He tries to entice an American couple by offering to show them where to buy hashish, but they leave him behind. Murad goes home without making any money for the entire week. He lives with his mother and sister. His twin brothers earned medical scholarships to begin school in Rabat a few months after Murad’s father passed away.
