Summary

In Chapter 22, seeing Tee waiting outside her house “felt like coming home” to Mickey (246). She had texted Tee saying they “needed to talk” (246). Although she felt close to her, Mickey still could not “attain and possess” Tee the way she wanted (247).

While out together, Mickey wondered if passersby had read her letter. Then she told Tee about it. Tee insisted they celebrate. They got drunk together. They went to Tee’s afterwards.
