The Struggle for Faith Summary and Analysis

Luther, known for lifting up the faith of others, sometimes struggles with his own faith. At different times in his life, Luther experiences depression. Luther realizes that spiritual problems are necessary in order to come up with spiritual solutions. Luther finds objective solace in Scripture, the written record of God in Christ.
