Summary

The day of the Boston Latin entrance exams arrives, and David goes to his testing location. He is seated next to Marlon. He becomes highly anxious during the test, and when the test time finishes, he has not finished all of the multiple-choice questions on the reading section. Panicked, David copies a few of the answers from Marlon’s sheet. Marlon sees David do this, and in the following days at school, Marlon proceeds to ignore David completely.
