" The Ted Bundy Fan Club" -- Gildiner describes Alana, her next hero, as being a person who “shows what the mind is capable of enduring while still remaining intact” (203).

During Alana’s first session with Gildiner, Alana was so scared that Gildiner feared she would pass out.
