Summary

On Tuesday 16th July, Andy performs his first comedy gig since the breakup. He is on the bill with his friend Emery, who is very attractive and self-assured. They travel to and from the gig together and Emery tries to convince Andy to write a comedy show about the breakup.

On Saturday 20th July, Andy, Avi and a group of their male friends go on their big night out. It has been timed at the same time as Jane is away for a spa weekend with Jen and their female friends. Andy notes the contrasting plans the men and women have made for him and Jen. On the night out, the men do not talk about the breakup. Instead, they get very drunk and Andy vomits.
