Summary

In Chapter 36, Pip and Ravi went to her house and Googled “child broomstick.” Google suggested “Child Brunswick,” who was the son of a serial killer named Scott Brunswick. Pip showed Ravi an article about how Child Brunswick had lured children to his father's van and his entrance into the witness protection program after his father was caught. Pip theorized that since Layla was looking for men who were 29-30, she was looking for Child Brunswick.

In Chapter 37, Pip, Ravi, and Connor continued to research Child Brunswick. Pip saw a comment in which someone said they were at the Osborn Correctional Institute with a cellmate who knew who Child Brunswick was.
