Kindness and Cruelty

The primary virtues advocated by the narrative are responsibility, kindness, and empathy, for the narrative largely functions to showcase the necessity of kindness and the destructive effects of cruelty. For example, through the character of Fox 8, the narrative illustrates various instances of kindness and selflessness that are inherently positive and admirable. After the forest is destroyed, Fox 8 decides to risk his own safety in order to venture into the mall in search of food for his friends. Fox 8 sees how malnourished his friends have become due to the destruction of the forest, and since none of the other foxes want to venture into the mall, Fox 8 takes the risk upon himself, for their sakes: “And sinse I luv you, shud I not do my best to save you?
