Part 1, Eto Demerzel, Chapters 11-25 Summary

In Chapter 11, Hari and the reclusive Eto meet, with the Emperor's blessing. Eto asks Hari to call him Daneel. They talk about Dors, Raych, and Yugo before turning to Joranum, who Eto accepts is a great danger. He claims to be working to thwart Joranum, and approves of Hari's worry about unleashing bigotry and anarchy by revealing Joranum's origins. Eto needs guidance from psychohistory to avert disaster. Hari leaves the meeting in despair. In Chapter 12 Hari spends days on the computer to sample news that might signal imminent collapse. Dahl for the first time has elected three Joranumites to its Council. Raych has already seen this and thinks it just, as Dahlites have no equality or anything to lose. Hari asks Raych to meet Joranum in Dahl and cajole him into revealing his true thoughts...
