Summary

In Chapter 22, Stevie goes to Nora’s shop and spends the morning working with her. Stevie tells Nora about her boy troubles and asks Nora how she will know if she likes someone. Nora tells Stevie about how she met her one and only girlfriend. Stevie starts feeling jealous, and Nora starts crying. She tells Stevie she has to tell her something, but then a customer comes in. Nora writes a letter, promising Stevie she will tell her the truth the next time she sees her.

In Chapter 23, Stevie goes home feeling like Nora has kept secrets from her. She goes through her room and looks through everything to find answers. She finds the loose floorboard and the box inside. The pictures of Nora and her kissing shock her, and she gets mad that Nora lied to her.
