Summary

Chapters 33-41

Chapter 33

Flora rushes to Ulysses and discovers he has a cut on his head. Ulysses is unconscious. Flora is worried that he is seriously hurt. Flora and her father rush to the car even as the cook threatens to call the police.

Chapter 34

As they drive away, Mr. Buckman continues to laugh. Flora, however, worries that Ulysses had a concussion, something she read about in Terrible Things Can Happen to You! Mr. Buckman assures her that Ulysses will be okay even as he continues to laugh.

Chapter 35

They arrive at the apartment building, the Blixen Arms, where Mr. Buckman lives. They run through the hallway because there is a cat that belongs to the landlord. The cat, Mr. Klaus, likes to scratch and bite people who walk in the hallways.

Chapter 36

As Flora waits for her father to open his apartment...
