Chapter 13: Flipped Summary

Bryce was one of twenty boys at school who was chosen for the Booster Club auction. It was humiliating. He was going to have to make up a picnic lunch for the girls to bid on. The top bidders won the lunches and got to eat with the boys who made them. What made matters worse was the boys were known as "basket boys." Garrett gave Bryce the bad news that three girls, Shelly Stalls, Miranda Humes and Jenny Atkinson, planned to be in a bidding war for Bryce. Bryce decided that he had to kiss up to Shelly and Miranda because he didn't want to get stuck with Jumbo Jenny who was six feet tall and could be in the NBA if she shaved her head.
