Summary

A 15-year-old boy who calls himself Zits wakes up in Seattle, where he is in the unfamiliar house of a new foster home. While getting ready for the day in the bathroom Zits ponders the miserable direction his life has taken since become an orphan at an early age. When he goes downstairs for breakfast, his new foster parents are immediately confrontational when Zits refuses to respond to “Good morning.” However, then Zits escalates the situation by pushing his foster mother out of the way and then tearing down the street.

Zits is quickly tackled to the ground by two police officers, and he begins to aggressively fight them until realizing that one of the policemen is Officer Dave, who has in fact been kind to Zits during his previous run-ins with the law. The policemen must nonetheless take Zits to a juvenile...
