Summary

Neve is living with her college friend, Margaret, until she can find her own place to live. Neve is contacted by an ex around Christmastime. She met Michael Whelan when she and Margaret worked at a bar while attending school. The two of them never officially dated, but they were together for a total of three years. Neve was drunk for most of it, but she remembers Michael leaving her. He contacts her again, claiming he just wants to be friends and to catch up. The two of them meet up again when Michael has a performance lined up in London. They get very drunk together and talk about their past relationship.
