Paen Scott

Paen is a vampire who is more than two hundred years old. Paen was born without a soul because his parents were not yet joined, something that happens when a vampire and his beloved complete a seven step process. For this reason, Paen must find his beloved and be joined with her in order to get his soul back. In return, his beloved will gain immortality, but she will be the only person Paen can take blood from for the rest of his life; therefore, he will die if she dies.

Paen is unhappy with the conditions of finding his beloved and being bonded to her; therefore he goes out of his way to avoid looking for his beloved despite his brothers' frequent attempts to set him up with women who could possibly fulfill the role for him. For this reason, Paen avoids commitment of any kind...
