Section 10: Chapter 14 and Chapter 15 Summary

In Chapter 14, Enna does not want her friends used as hostages, but Sileph insists their presence gives her power, warning her that Finn and Razo will be executed if she sets any loose fires in camp. Back at the tent, Sileph tells Enna that Finn and Razo were sent with a third boy to assassinate her, but it would be wise for her to pretend to care for them. Enna punches Sileph when he insults her friends and Bayern, so he leaves her alone for two days while the king's-tongue leaves her body and she regains her mind. Enna is haunted by the idea that Finn and Razo planned to kill her.
