Chapters 1-2 Summary

Chapter 1. Lil J is in terrible pain from a gunshot wound in his arm. Lil J is pretty sure the bone is broken and that he might suffer an infection if he does not go to a hospital soon. However, the police are searching for him in connection with a drug deal gone bad and the shooting of an undercover cop. Lil J's partner in crime, Rico, has already been arrested and is claiming Lil J is the shooter.

At the moment, Lil J is quickly walking away from a cop who tried to approach him on the street. Lil J slips into an abandoned building and makes his way up the stairs, a gun in his hand. Lil J thinks if he can make it to the roof he will be okay. However, the door to the roof will not...
