ACT III Summary

On August 3, 1999, it's 11 months after David returned to the city. He has a new apartment, job and girlfriend. David still doesn't talk to his mom. Dot and Iris live together 60 miles from David. He tries to locate for Wanda for about a month and then gives up. He has been living with Naomi for three months, becomes a vegetarian and hardly thinks about Wanda anymore.

David decides to write a screenplay. He has verified that his father is dead, but David is still obsessed with his father's comic, the Yellow Streak. David is also having dreams again, where an eerie boy appears.

He finds Naomi reading a book one day and asks what she has because he recognizes a photo from his scrapbook. Naomi says it's a book where the author is talking about sexual deviants. David hunts down Wanda's old...
