Scotch Heaven, Pages 141 through 200 Summary

On the day of the dance, Davie Erskine helps Angus clean up the school room. Angus dances with Anna and it's quickly obvious to everyone that there's an attraction there that will likely lead to marriage. Angus soon goes to visit Anna at her home, making his intentions public. There he finds that her parents are something less than welcoming, especially her mother, who is the more outspoken of the pair.
