Pgs. 655 - 710 Summary

Goto Dengo is digging tunnels at Bundok. They are creating a lake from the damn on the Yamamoto River. Dengo shows his superiors the vault they have built and how they plan to conceal the opening. He also explains how it is booby trapped if a thief enters.

Randy and Avi are walking along the beach talking. Avi tells Randy that Andrew Loeb has filed a lawsuit against Epiphyte. Andrew works for Dr. Kepler, who suspects that Semper Marine has found sunken treasure. Andrew claims that Epiphyte's contract with Semper Marine is too vague and doesn't cover the possibility of sonar scans locating sunken treasures. He wants a majority interest in Epiphyte. In order to prevent damages, they have to get the Shaftoe's to suspend their salvage operations. They also discuss the fact that all their data files are in California...
