Summary

In Chapter 5, Sean and Marty met up with Anthony at the Laurel Glen. Anthony seemed unwell. When Sean told him and his friends about the assault, Anthony was proud. Everyone agreed it sounded like something Anthony would do.

Although it was early, Anthony was drunk and high and showed “no sign of going anywhere” (49). Sean remembered when Anthony would bring him to the Laurel Glen as a kid (51). He used to look up to Anthony and his friends. “They were who [he] wanted to be” (51).
