Summary

After the winter break, Jen has been essentially fried from class mom duties by the school's principal, and Asami now takes over. In Asami's first email to the class, about class pictures in mid-January, she is extremely stern and critical about the usual hygiene of most of the students in the class. When Jen works out with Garth, he is curious about how Nina is doing, after the two of them met at her house during Christmas. After having Ron pick up Max for several days, Jen finally is willing to face the other moms and pick up Max herself. A few days later, the students exit the class crying because Asami, in a presentation about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., showed the class a picture of the deceased MLK in his coffin.
