Summary

Chapter 21, Raising Hell – Clary tries to help Amatis, but Jace holds her back. She is forcefed the blood of Lilith from the now-called Infernal Cup, which instantly transforms her into a servant of Sebastian. Sebastian orders her to fight his ally, Cartwright. Cartwright is defeated, and consents to drinking the blood to make himself more powerful. Clary now feels horrible she did not let Jace turn himself in. The good Shadowhunters and a pack of wolves led by Simon, Isabelle, Maryse, Helen, Aline, Jocelyn, arrive. The plan is to hack a path to Sebastian for Simon to use Glorious against him.

A battle opens up during which time Magnus is stabbed by Amatis. As she is about to kill Magnus, she is shot by Alec with an arrow. Alec watches out for Magnus while his body works hard to heal...
