Summary

In Chapter 9, Astrid sent Charlie a message asking him to help her find out who bought Michael’s software company. After Charlie got off the phone with Astrid, he called his partner and asked about the purchase of Michael’s company. The partner indicated they were still paying out losses on that purchase.

In Chapter 10, Carlton and Colette visited Rachel. They had been told she was suffering from an attack of gallstones. Later, when Nick and Carlton were alone, Nick told Carlton that Rachel had been poisoned. Nick said they were working with the police to try to determine who might have a motive to want to hurt Rachel. Carlton went pale when Nick said the poison used was Tarquinomid.
