Summary

The only perk David Sedaris sees to being middle-aged is the acquisition of a guest room. The consequence of a guest room, however, is that they attract guests, particularly if you live in Europe as Sedaris does. When David and his partner Hugh had a country house in Normandy, there was not much to entertain their guests, but their current home in West Sussex has plenty of nearby diversions for visitors.
