Section 11: Book 3, Chapters 27-29 Summary

In Chapter 27: Travel Plans, Bella is frightened by Renesmee's progress when she says her first word, Momma, followed by her first sentence, "where is Grandpa", at only one week old. She walks three weeks later. The Cullens decide to follow the old legends of vampire-human hybrids to their source in order to find a way to slow Renesmee's growth. Before they can leave, Bella needs to take a solo trip to visit the Volturi. Edward does not want her to go alone, but she argues that is the only way that Aro will not find out about Renesmee. While hunting with Jacob and Renesmee, Bella sees Irina, Tanya's sister, watching them, but when Irina's face turns hostile and she runs away, Bella calls Carlisle and Edward who search for Irina.
