Chapter 6-7 Summary

In chapter six Vicki and Tony go to the library with the keys to get the papers Vicki found earlier. There had been maps as well as the diary. When they get to the library, they find that the maps are gone. There is a piece of a rat-eaten letter. Vicki is able to make out part of the letter from Konstanze that talks about her husband's ill stomach and getting the piece of art so he may carry out God's will. Tony suggests the next morning that Vicki take Irma shopping to get her mind off of things. While they are out, Vicki tells Irma to try on a dress but Irma tells her that the price is too high. Vicki drops the subject but wonders how the price could be too high when the castle gets such high rates...
