Summary

Chapter 19 opens with Willow, still at brunch with her family and January. She feels upset her sister had almost ruined the gathering. Then Victoria comes downstairs and again and tells January about the family curse. To Victoria’s consternation, January does not care very much about it. He addresses Madelyn, saying he enjoys spending time with Willow and does not believe in curses. Victoria storms upstairs and everyone else apologizes to January. Afterward, Willow takes January up to her bedroom and lights 13 candles. She sleeps with him, but not before Victoria catches her, calls January a hustler and telling Willow to never bring him to the house again. Victoria accuses Willow of making her look like a hypocrite and Willow tells her that she is one.
