Summary

The news that Covey has died finally reaches her hometown. Bunny is devastated. She had begun dating a man named Jimmy before he died, but she had never felt like he was the person she was going to spend the rest of her life with. In many ways, she dreamed Covey would come back for her.


Bunny is an accomplished distance swimmer preparing to move to England with the new woman she loves, Pat, when she discovers that she is pregnant. Her coach is worried about her new responsibilities but she promises that she will continue to train.
