Chapter 11 Summary

Lipsha is concerned that Shawnee Ray does not return his love. She is the first one he has ever loved or ever made love to, and his feelings are genuine. He is frustrated that he can't get her to see this. Lipsha isn't encouraged by his claim to Shawnee about having love medicine. Shawnee thinks it is his ability to get her into bed, but he isn't even experienced in that area. Lyman, on the other hand, has a lot of history with women.
