Summary

Chapter 16

In Chapter 16, Reid is still angry the following morning when he learns that both Emma and Graham stayed at the hotel the night before. He, however, brought a bride-to-be from a bachelorette party back to his hotel room. Meanwhile, Emma has learned that her parents have landed in Austin. Emma goes downstairs in time to hear her stepmother raking the desk clerk over the coals because she can’t get a room on the same floor as Emma. MiShaun catches Emma hiding behind a pillar and Emma tells her about her stepmother’s scene. MiShaun tells Emma that those who really matter will not hold the actions of her parents against her. That evening her stepmother is going to dinner with Emma and some members of the cast. Chloe dresses provocatively and criticizes Emma’s conservative dress.
