Perspective

Peter Lynch is perhaps the most successful mutual fund manager of all time. Lynch managed the Magellan Fund from 1977 through 1990. During that time, Magellan was the top-ranked general equity mutual fund. Time Magazine called Lynch the "#1 money manager." Lynch's first book, One Up on Wall Street, instructed potential investors to invest in subjects and areas in which they are knowledgeable. After retiring from Magellan, Lynch devoted his time to assisting nonprofit corporations with their investments.
