Part 2: Chs 1-5 Summary

In the Prelude to Part 2, BeastNYC is talking to the other members of the online chat room for people who have been magically transformed. Mr. Anderson is the group facilitator and is trying to get BeastNYC to talk about himself. There are three other members of the group: SilentMaid, Froggie and Grizzlyguy. It is clear from their stories that they are well known characters from fairy tales. BeastNYC is angry and has decided to rant to the group about the witch. After a while, SilentMaid grows tired of the rant and wants to talk about her situation. She is in love with a human and wishes to be transformed into a mute girl so she can have legs and pursue a relationship with him.
